Originally known as cafés cantantes (which became popular during the mid-nineteenth century in Spain)\, tablaos are still among the most popular places to see flamenco today. Tablao performances offer audiences a rare opportunity to feel the artists’ emotions up close and experience the dynamic interplay between the dancers\, guitarist and singer come alive.
