Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana partnered with the NY Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center on a five-month exhibition, 100 Years of Flamenco in New York.  This exhibit focused on the contributions of great flamenco artists and their momentous performances that have taken place in New York City as early as the 1840s while celebrating Flamenco Vivo’s 30-year history.

Flamenco Vivo, Ninotchka Bennahum and K. Meira Goldberg curated the exhibit, undertaking the research into flamenco’s earliest days, and providing documents, photographs and objects from Carmen Amaya to José Greco. The exhibit also included rare original recordings from 1934 of songs and castanet playing by Federico Garcia Lorca with La Argentina.
