En Comunidad brings flamenco home—into the heart of our neighborhoods where it lives, breathes, and grows. Featuring performances by students from our arts education programs, Flamenco Vivo Teaching Artists, rising dancers from our Evolucion training program, and Guest Artistic Director Karen Lugo, this multigenerational showcase transforms Bronx Music Hall into a neighborhood gathering where flamenco becomes a shared language across generations. The boundaries between performer and audience dissolve as families, friends, and neighbors gather in an interactive flamenco experience outside the theater that closes the evening. More than a performance, En Comunidad is a celebration of connection, it’s an opportunity to have time and space to share who we are and what makes us move—where flamenco brings us together, generations learn from each other, and our neighborhoods become stages for art that belongs to all of us.
En Comunidad is presented in collaboration with @fundacionpacodelucia, marking the beginning of a new partnership supporting our work to bring flamenco into schools, neighborhoods, and cultural centers across NYC.
