Fiesta Flamenca

A fundraiser to benefit Flamenco Vivo’s arts education programs

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH
7:00pm

Join Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana for a special evening of live performances and unique cuisine at Ibiza Tapas! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, don’t miss this dynamic cast of world-renowned dancers and musicians from Spain and the US. Experience the dazzling footwork, sensual lyricism and intricate rhythms of this critically-acclaimed company in an intimate tablao (cafe-style) setting.

All proceeds from this event will go to support Project Ole, Flamenco Vivo’s arts education programs serving over 20,000 young people nationwide each year. These K-12 programs use the rich and powerful art form of Spanish dance/Flamenco to build understanding and communication between young people of different cultures and abilities including English Language Learners and students with disabilities. Our teaching instills students with a sense of pride, self-confidence, and accomplishment and exposes them to the history and multicultural influences of this Hispanic art form.

$100 – General Admission

Each ticket includes table seating and dinner during the performance. $50 of each ticket is tax-deductible.

About the Company

Founded in 1983, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana is one of America’s most prominent, culturally-specific dance companies, serving more than 45,000 people nationwide each year through far-reaching programs that entertain, educate and empower. Our mission is to promote flamenco as a living art form and a vital part of Hispanic heritage; produce and perform high quality dance works; provide arts education programs that catalyze connections among young people; and nurture the next generations of Spanish dance artists and educators. We believe that the universal spirit of flamenco – with diverse influences from Arab, Jewish, Gypsy, Spanish, and Latin American cultures – gives this art form a unique power to build bridges between people.
