Tablao Flamenco:
February 6

Tablao Flamenco

February 6 @ 7:30pm  |  Dallas, TX

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana showcases the pride and power of flamenco in Tablao Flamenco, featuring an international cast of dancers and musicians. Named after the wooden floor used by a bailaor/a (dancer), tablaos are intimate venues that harness the highly improvisational and virtuosic nature of flamenco. Originally known as cafés cantantes (which became popular during the midnineteenth century in Spain), tablaos are still among the most popular places to see flamenco today. Tablao performances offer audiences a rare opportunity to feel the artists’ emotions up close and experience the dynamic interplay between the dancers, guitarist and singer come alive. The energy is explosive as artists are inspired by one another and the freedom to take risks and embrace spontaneity.

Tour 2026: Quinto Elemento

Coastal Carolina University – Wheelwright Auditorium|  Conway, SC

Friday, March 20 @ 7:30 PM

Flamenco Vivo presents QUINTO ELEMENTO (Fifth Element), an evening-length work choreographed by Patricia Guerrero with an original score by Francis Gomez. The production explores the fifth element of the earth: ether, the essence that makes up the space around us. Hailed as a master of tradition who dares to deconstruct the art form, Guerrero draws on her deep knowledge of traditional flamenco but pushes past the restriction of its rules. In doing so, she seeks to extract the essence of flamenco itself, its invisible fifth element, and make it tangible to audiences.
