January 25 – February 22 | Mondays at 6:00 pm EST

Cultivate the technique, soniquete and aire essential for effective palmas accompaniment in flamenco. This 5-class series will focus on proper accentuation of the various palos, contratiempos, cuts and rhythm dynamics. Each class will build upon the next; attendance for all 5 sessions and previous study of flamenco is highly recommended.

The National Association of Flamenco Tablaos of Spain (ANTFES) protested before the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture about the situation that the sector is going through due to the coronavirus pandemic. During the protest, representatives of the association declared that flamenco tablaos are a unique cultural heritage in the world, which is mortally wounded. To stage this situation, two dancers have carried out a performance.
