A living, evolving spectacle that aims to recover what is essential in flamenco, without embellishments: feeling.
Añejo is an open, living, evolving spectacle. Rather than to tell a particular story or script, it seeks to enjoy flamenco by referencing figures of its past, and presenting the essence of flamenco using the cante, the toque and the dance. It’s a work in which the audience must follow only its senses and feelings and enjoy every instant of what’s happening on stage. Representing Isaac Tovar’s first show as a solo artist, Añejo both demands and demonstrates all the knowledge and experience he has acquired along his trajectory as an artist.
